Cowbar Sunset.

So, this is a bit of a departure from my recent work, but it fits much better with my oils, like Moored. It is an image from my childhood really – it combines the view of a gorgeous, bleak skyline in the North East – Cowbar Nab, and the rusty-brown harbour that it there to protect the village, and now the Nab, from the North Sea. It’s an abstract representation of the landscape, and really reflects how I felt about the place as a child.
